Mass Strikes for 3 days: Over 200 objects damaged, including 28 energy objects, Ukrainian PM says

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced that over 200 objects were damaged by Russian precision strikes, including 28 energy infrastructure objects.

"In the past 24 hours alone, eight strikes occurred in three regions of Ukraine. Overall, during the last 3 days, a total of 128 strikes were registered," Shmygal said during a cabinet meeting. "As a result, over 200 different objects were damaged, including 28 energy infrastructure objects."

According to the Prime Minister, the strikes target both power generation and distribution objects.

Following the recent Russian strikes across the country, millions of Ukrainians are facing blackouts.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has called on the population to reduce its energy consumption to prevent power outages.

"Please don't turn on energy-intensive appliances: electric stoves, electric kettles, power tools, heaters and air conditioners, ovens and irons, microwave ovens, coffee makers, washing machines and dishwashers", he said.

In Kyiv, the authorities announced an air alert. The statement in the Telegram channel was posted by the Kyiv City Administration.

“We ask everyone to urgently go to the shelter of civil protection!” the statement said.
