Trial of Robert Jones-Motion for Judgement of Acquittal
3 years ago
7
After "the state" rests their case, Robert motions for a Judgement of Acquittal because the state did not provide sufficient evidence to sustain a conviction and prove all the elements of the charge beyond a reasonable doubt. Judge Susan Clark denies it even though there was no evidence at all that Robert honked horns or screamed, which both need to be proven for a conviction. Horns is in plural on the complaint, but no one testified that he blew an air horn or honked his car horn. Actually the social media police officer testified that he didn't see him blow air horns.
