I don't normally post stuff like this but I've been a little overwhelmed with the amount of negativity, name calling and hateful rhetoric I've been seeing.

Maybe its the elections, maybe it's that we're more divided than ever. But I know if we don't find some common ground we're sunk.

I've seen countries that descend into civil war. Countries that couldn't compromise. That didn't understand the meaning of tolerance. That is not a place you want to live.

Let's trade a little hate for some empathy. Let's work to understand each other rather than screaming over each other. Even if nothing changes we'll have a lot more peaceful and joyful world.
