i got a little off track with discussing Daniel 8, but I'll post Karl Tester's video on it, he goes into depth, though I don't think anything in Daniel 8 has a future application. I use to think so, but i think the only thing you can maybe have a shadow of is the Muslim Empire, if you think the two horns of the earth beast is Islam and Catholicism with the Pope being the Image of that beast (catholicism little horn in daniel 7), since one little horn came from Rome (daniel 7) and the other little horn from Greece (Islam). I entertain that interpretation, but not convinced, but maybe you could make that connection???. But I pretty much agree with most of Karl Tester's views. In May of 1856 Ellen White made a false prediction when she said, “I was shown the company present at the Conference. Said the angel: ‘Some food for worms, some subjects of the seven last plagues, some will be alive and remain upon the earth to be translated at the coming of Jesus.’” (Testimonies to the Church, v.1, page 132). It has been over 160 years since this prediction was made and everyone present when Ellen said this is now dead!
