In the official narrative the Soviet Union was described to plan Operation Denver, a massive plan to discredit the United States by blaming the Pentagon for the creation of AIDS.

By initially releasing reports through a KGB-controlled Indian newspaper called Patriot, they spread the story through supporting media outlets across 82 countries and seriously influenced the world opinion of the origins for auto immunodeficiency syndrome.

With Kanye’s famous line in his 2005 hit “Heard Em Say” directly referencing the idea from this famous Cold War operation, it begs the question if Kanye fell for the propaganda or if his lyrics were closer to the truth than we know.
