Can there be a rest for my old weary soul?
My heart says Yes! but my flesh says No!

This constant battle warring, flesh and soul

Oh my eyes have but failed
But my Heart still sees the Hope

My Faith and Trust I’ve Placed in Thee
Oh glorious is that report, of those nails
Driven into the hands and feet that set me free

Oh that precious Blood Spilled at Calvary

I always look with my Heart to Him who set me free

This prison has changed, it's no longer a war of my soul
But I find myself constantly vexed in Mind, Body, and Soul

Like the darkened tents of kedar
The walls have grown closer, wrapped around these bones
This flesh that I have it is no longer my home

Trapped inside waiting to get out, I call to the Father
I call to the Father

Even so come Lord Jesus, I am unworthy
Without your Grace, Im naked, poor, miserable oh I can not see!
I know that my salvation could have never come from me

My departure is at hand
It wouldn’t have never been anything I did
But from your purest Love, I behold

The Rock of my Salvation, King of all creation

Though my eyes may fail, my heart still See's the Hope of my Salvation.
