Phuket Old Town Flooded - October 16, 2022

Due to the heavy and constant rain the canals finally reached the point where they couldn’t handle anymore water. Right near the old clock tower the canal overflowed the banks and flooded the old town area. Many of the neighborhoods were completely underwater and the locals are doing what they can to keep the water at bay. I walked around so you can see the extent of the damage from the flood waters. Parts were too deep so I didn’t venture into them.
