In this video, I discuss the new US export controls and requirements surrounding semiconductors and Americans working for Chinese chip companies.

With the stroke of a pen, the Biden administration has basically sent the Chinese semiconductor industry back to the Stone Age.

While probably the correct move from the perspective of US national security, it's difficult to see how this action will not be viewed by China as an escalation.

I'm worried that we are on the slippery slope to WW3.
