In this video, I discuss the problems and logical inconsistencies involved with measuring Bitcoin dominance and relative market cap.

It makes zero sense to include stablecoins or centralized projects in this calculation.

When you measure various cryptos agains the cypherpunk ideals, there's only one coin that meets the cut-- and that is Bitcoin.

Even Ethereum is a highly centralized project, with a pre-mine, and even more regulatory capture coming with the move to proof of stake. If a captured, controlled coin flips Bitcoin's market cap, it is hardly a victory to be celebrated.

If you ask the wrong question or use the wrong metric like Bitcoin dominance, you get the wrong answer. What people should be asking is:

"What are the serious candidates that are both neutral money and that have the potential to replace the existing fiat financial system?"

There's only one, and that's BTC.
