Ben Elton is moaning about woke.

Perhaps he forgot about his comment about Benny Hill years ago.

It has been trendy for the left to label certain comedians as not correct and have them almost banned from TV and theatres.

Benny Hill
Roy Chubby Brown
Jim Davidson
Jerry Sadowitz
Graham Linehan

Rather than defend them, often other comedians and entertainers will put there heads down and say nothing, in fear they too will be the next ones to be bullied by the left wing mob.

In days gone past, such mobs would claim a woman was a witch, and people would not defend her, in fear they too would be burnt at the stake. Today these bullies still find people to declare as evil and need to be dealt with.
