What you get here is not one but two rechargeable hand warmers. They are not just hand warmers as they also double as 5000mAh power banks capable of topping up your phone in an emergency.

In the box are the two hand warmers together with wrist lanyards and charging cables for each and a soft carry bag and user guide.

Build quality seems fine. The hand warmers are made from ABS plastic but seem well made and built to last. There is nothing that looks likely to fail on them anytime soon.

Each handwarmer has a single proper clicky button on the front to turn them off and on and to scroll through the heating levels. There are large LEDs on both sides and these and the power switch itself illuminate orange when in heating mode and blue when charging. The is also a row of three small LEDs on the front face to show the current battery level when charging and the heating level when in handwarmer mode. On the front edge also are a USB-C power-in port and a USB-A port to charge external devices when in power bank mode.

Operation is simple enough. Press and hold the power button for four seconds to switch on and off and short press to cycle through the three heating levels. Short press once and with one LED showing it heats to 40-45°C, press again and the second LED shows and it heats between 45 and 50°C, a third press lights the final LED and heats between 50- 55°C.

To use in power bank mode, simply connect your external device to the USB-A port on the front and the device will be charged from the 5v/2A output with the small LEDs showing the remaining power.

As hand warmers, the pair can work separately or paired as they are magnetic and can clamp together for maximum effect. As hand warmers, they work better and feel more comfortable in the hand when paired together but work perfectly well when separated with one in each hand. The hand warmers are slimline, light in weight and can be slipped inside a glove if it is not too tight.

For the price of £29.99 for the pair, I think this is a pretty decent buy.
