In this video, I discuss the sanctioning of Tornado Cash, and what it means for Ethereum, as well as the wider crypto space.

Unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum is woefully unprepared for a nation-state level attack, as we have seen with these OFAC sanctions. The Tornado Cash ban helps to shine the light on the massive amount of centralization (Infura, Circle) that is present in the Ethereum ecosystem.

The move to proof of stake will only open up Ethereum even more to nation-state level attacks and control by stakers like exchanges.
