October 2022 Railfanning Compilation 1: 10/9/22 - 10/16/22

On October 9th, I got word that M403 had a waybiled GP38-3 for Amtrak, so I took a ride to Newburgh to watch it roll by. On October 13th, I got word that H70 had an AC44C6M, SD60E, and a GP38-2 for power, so I took a ride over to Salisbury Mills to watch it pass early on the 14th. Later in the day on the 14th, I happened to be home sick and got word that WS-2 was making a run to Sparta, possibly using NYSW 3634. With this in mind, I set out to the Southern Division and lo and behold, they were using it and it was leading! This marks the first time in nearly 11 years that 3634 has been to this end of the railroad, as well. Later in the day on the 14th, I got word of an S981 coming down and it made good time, so I took a ride to CP 55 to watch it pass. On October 15th, I got word that M403 had another PRLX GP38-3 trailing, so I took a ride to CP 55 to watch it pass. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed!
