Old Town Phuket Flood - October 17, 2022 - 24 Hours Later What It Looks Like Now

This year the monsoon season has been much longer and more sever than normal. In many places the waters are reaching the point of flooding and Phuket is one of the effected areas. Due to the heavy and constant rain the canals finally reached the point where they couldn’t handle anymore water. Right near the old clock tower the canal overflowed the banks and flooded the old town area. Many of the neighborhoods were completely underwater and the locals are doing what they can to restore a semblance of normalcy to their lives. I walk around the old town so you can see what it looks like 24 hours after the flood.
