On tension in Moldova

Our subscribers report that on October 14, a train with military equipment of the Romanian Armed Forces passed through the Romanian city of Iasi in the direction of Moldova.

The footage shows more than a dozen armored vehicles, including Piranha IIIC, B33, TAV-77 armored personnel carriers, as well as several trucks and a mobile radar.

🔻 What is the reason for this?

Currently, the Joint Combined Exchange Training-2022 (JCET) exercises are taking place on the territory of Moldova, in which the participation of British military personnel is also announced. It is likely that the equipment was transferred as part of this event.

However, the very specificity of JCET-2022 lies in the training of special operations forces units. And the pulling together of such a quantity of weapons to work out the tasks of the MTR raises some doubts.

🔻Taking into account the anti-government protests in Chisinau and their violent dispersal, as well as Maia Sandu's statements about negotiations with "partner countries" on the rearmament of the Moldovan Armed Forces, it is highly likely that the Romanian equipment arrived with a completely different purpose.

Social tensions are rising in Moldova due to dissatisfaction with both the domestic and foreign policies of the Sandu administration. The forceful dispersal of the protesters further aggravated the situation and put Moldova at risk of a civil war.

And the thesis about the need to restore control over Transnistria, which is being dispersed in the Western media, creates even more prerequisites for an armed conflict.

And the British SAS special forces are now taking part in JCET-2022. Namely, the Anglo-Saxons benefit from inciting several conflicts in the zone of traditional Russian interests.
