Despite his tragic mistake, Hod becomes his twin’s companion in the underworld after his own death. Hod makes amends by being honest about his error and becoming a spiritual counselor to Baldur. Norse legend says that Hod survives Ragnarok- a destructive period preceding a new world- and through this atonement, goes on to rule along side Baldur. His symbols are mistletoe & darkness.~
