It will be possible to equip three weapons, four secondary equipment and several other secondary weapons. In addition, The First Descendant will have items to use as character upgrades. It will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. A beta testing period will begin on the 20th of this month on Steam and will offer a limited experience with ten unlockable characters, campaign missions, weapons and other rewards.

In the plot told by Nexon, players will assume the role of an heir of humanity. Transformed into an ascendant being after receiving the Ancestor's powers, he must rally his armies to exterminate the leader of the Collosi, Vulgus. Thus, it will be up to the protagonist to continue fighting and discover his role in a universe in crisis.
