Hellboy (2004) Movie Review - Boring or Brilliant?

Hellboy 2004 review from the Salty Nerds has them debating as to whether this comic book adaptation from Guillermo del Toro is incredibly brilliant, or incredibly boring.

Starring Ron Pearlman, Doug Jones, and Selma Blair, Hellboy tells the story of a demon summoned during World War II who grows up to become a supernatural law enforcement officer who protects humanity from a variety of Lovecraftian threats. But he also might be the very thing that destroys humanity as well.

Adapted from the comic book from artist Mike Mignola, Hellboy 2004 has amazing visuals and is quite faithful to the comics, but is the story interesting enough to keep audiences interested?
