2 Corinthians 5:17; Malachi 3:16; Ephesians 2:10; Titus 2:14

I am a new creation in Christ. I don't want to do the things I used to do. I'm no longer an adulterer, an alcoholic, a drug addict, angry, vicious, rude or selfish. I've been recreated in my spirit and all those who deadly and destructive ways are gone. I may fail and fall into those behaviors from time to time as I'm learning to walk in the light of my new self, but those things are not my home, they are not my normal.

Many of my family and friends don't understand why I don't like to do what I used to do. Some are even aggravated that I don't like to behave the way I used to behave. But I've been changed by the grace of God. I didn't do it in my own human will power. It happened TO me when I accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. He did a miracle in my spirit; in my innermost being.

According to Titus 2:14 God redeemed me from every lawless deed. I don't desire lawless deeds any more. They do nothing for me. I've been changed by the love of God. I don't miss what I used to do and who I used to be. I can't go back because that person is gone forever.

I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away, behold all things are new.
