Jesus as the Greatest Giver (2 Cor 8)

Paul encourages the Corinthians to excel in the grace of giving. He points them to the prime example of giving, Jesus Christ himself, who left the place of true riches for a life of poverty on our planet. His sacrificial gift provided life for us. We should, then, follow his holy example.
