An older family member was tricked by an unscrupulous reverse mortgage company into selling our family farm/property. This family member has since passed, so her testimony to this crime cannot be used.

It turns out, we are probably not the only family who they victimized.

In our case they went so far as to forge documents, and they weren't even good forgeries

It turns out that even though we have all the evidence to retain our land and our home, we still need an attorney to assist in winning our case in a court of law. We could still lose everything, even though we have all of the proof.
