Is the 101st Airborne in Romania as a nuclear trigger?

2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne was recently deployed to Romania. A Twitter user, named Joshua Steinman stated that: The purpose of deploying the 101st to the Ukraine border is to make out such that in the case of a nuclear incident, American soldiers die. Thus emotionally committing us to war."

This is incorrect. It is now how US troops are used and any nuclear weapons fired in Ukraine would not effect any troops in Romania.
