Easy Pecan Pie

2 cups pecan peices
abt 1/2 cup pecan halves
3/4 cup corn syrup
4 tbs butter
1 cup sugar
1tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs
1 pie crust

preheat oven to 350
Bake at 350 abt 20 mn
cover and Bake at 350 another 40 min
