ReCanning Boiled Peanuts

5 out of 6 canned fine. That’s an A- by my grading system. The 1 I knocked over the top popped off. Either from me dropping it sideways and a food particle interfering, or from me taking the pressure canner regulator off at 5 pounds of pressure instead of waiting for zero. Oops. I will still eat that 1 so in the end I get an A+. I paid $2.75 for the #10 can, new is about $18. You get about 7 pints total from a #10 in case you are wondering. I love salty boiled peanuts ever since I lived in Florida as a kid for 5 years. Yes I am a trailer trash Florida man from fly over country who has also lived in California and even worked in San Francisco. I lived how city slickers live and it’s wrong. Where do you grow your food? My state to answer the question, and we are not yours to boss around.
