My Issues With Genres

In this video I discuss by issues with genres, both in literature and in film; as well as touching on the eternal problem of categorising genres in video games. This through-line between all the different mediums of entertainment I enjoy forms the basis of a larger discussion in categorising art in general across all mediums and disciplines; combining the booktube discussions, video game essayist, and film critic parts of YouTube into one as we have this largely semantic but fascinating debate.
