INTROSPECTION - possessive people. Any reason(s) behind possessiveness?

Am not interested in what people say, though I do listen, what matters is the reasoning behind those and most especially the pains. If one's pains are stronger than their reasoning, which is always the case of ignorant people (let's not forget, ignorance has thousands of layers), then their reasoning isn't that much of an importance, right?
