"Svatovo Front Update

Today the Ukrainian army made an attempt to attack Svatovo.

Ukrainian units crossed the Zherebets River, pushed through our forward defensive lines, and then began to advance on the offensive.

This attack had long ago been calculated by our forces, and at the end of the day the Ukrainians suffered losses and were forced to roll back across the river, without capturing even a meter of our territory.

If we add to this the successful actions of our infantry in the Kremennaya-Chervonopopovka area, we can remark on our successful defensive actions against large concentrations of the enemy.

PS. Although Starshe Eddy does not mention the site of the failed Ukrainian breakthrough, it was most likely in the area Raigorodka, where it was previously expected (see map)."
