The Granstream Saga (PS1) 1 Hour Gameplay

The Granstream Saga is a spiritual successor to Soul Blazer, and Terranigma, and is a unique PS1 RPG that combines turned based and real-time battles. It has a cool anime aesthetic, and even uses anime cutscenes throughout the game to tell the story. I haven't played very far into this game since I rented it in the 90's. This is the furthest I have played into it in decades, but I always liked this game, even if it is a bit of an acquired taste, even for JRPG fans as it does it's own unique thing.

I would put this game in it's own strange niche sub-genre withing the niche sub-genre of Japanese RPGs. Sort of a Non-traditional RPG like Azure Dreams, and some of the other more nice RPG's on the PS1. I like this game, but it's an acquired taste for most.
