Most of Us Are Against Abortion to Some Extent #Shorts

I’m personally against abortion, but if you need to get an abortion in your life, well that’s your decision. I don’t eat meat, but if you want to eat meat, well what does it matter what I think? But I think most of us are against abortion, at least to some extent. I think most of us would agree that the termination of a pregnancy at 38 weeks of a perfectly healthy baby is morally wrong. Only a very small fringe minority of people would think that’s okay. So we can at least agree that abortion is wrong in certain situations. And that’s good. We’re having a discussion. Just as we could probably all agree that chopping down a few trees to make toilet paper is okay, that certainly doesn’t mean that we think we should chop down the entire rain forest to make a thousand years worth of toilet paper. It’s never black or white, nor should it be. A civilised society requires us to meet somewhere in the middle.
