This video explains an alternate method for the search for extraterrestrial intelligences based on Freeman John Dyson (not to be confused with Sir John Dyson, the UK inventor.)

I hope this video provides some ideas and knowledge about how to identify life in the cosmos. I made a video in the past on this topic and think that our concepts of life can shape our search techniques.
