In this video, I discuss Bitcoin, the American Revolution, and the benefits of decentralization for human civilization.

The problem with centralized control is that it inevitably leads to capture. You can attempt to police free speech, but eventually that policing unit will be captured or politicized.

The Founding Fathers understood the importance of decentralization when it came to speech, defense, states rights, and the neutrality of gold and silver. If they had known about Satoshi's invention, I think that they would have approved.

Bitcoin is decentralized neutral money. It is money for the left, the right, and the center. Bitcoin is money for enemies.
