Growing up

The epistle of first John is a loving welcome letter to new believers. He explains stages of Christian growth in three groups, Fathers, Young men, and Little Children. It is the Little Children that he spends the most time explaining pitfalls and traps of Satan that are designed to derail their faith. His warnings are with assurance that they are never abandoned by the God who lovingly saved them.
