Dangerous Landing easyJet Flight Land/Taxi/Depart PLANE SPOTTING GIBRALTAR, Extreme Airport, 4K

easyJet flight U261933 lands at Gibraltar, taxis down the terminal, then departs back fro EDI. When plane first arrives to the terminal you can see the Manchester flight preparing for departure. The EDI flight starts loading before Manchester takes off! In the next video you will see LGW land and taxi up to the terminal as this one is taxis out to the runway.

I love how these planes land on a tarmac that is surrounded on all sides by water. This is a must watch to see how close to the water these planes land and take off. There are very few airports in the world like this, that could support commercial airline jets to land and take off under such extreme conditions.

Gibraltar is one of the most dangerous airports in the world because the runway is short, it is surrounded by water on both ends of the tarmac, an international highway bisects the tarmac with cars, bikes and people on foot crossing. The weather caused by the Strait of Gibraltar can lead to brutal crosswinds. The pilots who land here have to be very qualified. Flights to Gibraltar are currently only from the United Kingdom because Gibraltar International Airport is technically a military airport not a civilian one.
