China's Xi Jinping knows we are not seeking conflict says Joe Biden

President Joe Biden said on Wednesday (October 26) that the United States does not seek conflict with China and that Chinese President Xi Jinping knows this.

In a meeting with his top military advisors, Biden said the United States would continue to lead on a number of issues, from Russia's aggression in Ukraine to climate change to the Indo-Pacific region.

"We also have to responsibly manage the increasingly intense competition with China. We have to maintain our military advantage by making clear that we do not seek conflict," he said of the Chinese.
