Live: Third Quarter GDP Release

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) will release the first estimate of US 3rd Quarter Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at 8:30 AM. Currently the Atlanta Fed's GDPNow tools is forecasting a 3.1% growth rate for 2Q22. This comes after the -0.6% GDP report from the 2nd quarter of this year. A positive GDP read would mean an end to the (totally not a) recession that the United states has (totally not) been in for the last 9 months after two consecutive negative reports in the first (-1.6%) and second (-0.6%) quarters of this year.
