Israeli strikes targeted Damascus's vicinity on Thursday's early hours for the third time in less than a week, the country's state agency reported.

Footage shows an anti-air missile being launched to intercept the missile's attack on the capital.

The Syrian Ministry of Defence said in a statement released by local media that several areas near Damascus were targeted, causing damage to unspecified targets. No casualties were reported.

At the time of publication, Israel did not comment on the Syrian Ministry of Defence's accusations.
