Jemma Mitchell convicted of murder after decapitating friend & caught on CCTV with body in suitcase

A devout Christian has been convicted of decapitating a “healer” friend she met at a church group.

Jemma Mitchell carried out the “truly despicable crime” against Mee Kuen Chong after the vulnerable 67-year-old backed out of giving her £200,000 to repair her dilapidated home.

The alternative therapist and self-styled healer, 38, hoped to inherit the bulk of her victim’s £700,000 estate by faking her will.

Prosecutors allege that Mitchell hit Ms Chong, who was known as Deborah, over the head with a weapon at her home in London last year.

Two weeks later, she drove to the seaside town of Salcombe in Devon where she left Ms Chong’s decapitated and badly decomposed body in woods.
