It seems that the last months of the war were not without success for Ukraine. After fierce fighting and thousands of lives lost at the front, Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkov Regional Military Administration, announced that the Ukrainian army was about to liberate the region in the east of the country totally from Russian control.
