Romans 14:23And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

(Greek- everything that is not done in and by Faith [trust in God] is sin in the eyes of God)

=because he does not act in faith; and anything that is not done in faith is sin.
=action that does not spring from faith, when we act apart from our faith is sin.
=Any action not consistent with faith is sin.
=But a man who decides for himself what to eat is condemned because he is not living by his faith. Any action not consistent with faith is sin.
