Matthew 24:9-22

In Matthew 24:9-22, we see the Lord giving over the unrighteous to the consequences of their sin, Christ-followers giving the gospel to all who will hear, and those who understand giving flight from the distress at hand.

BOTTOM LINE: God's plan for His followers will go forward, in spite of the hardship and opposition in the world. Here’s how to be a part of God’s plan.

Just as Jesus, at His Last Supper, left the place of prominence, took on the role of a servant and washed His disciples’ feet with a basin and towel, we, too, need to humble ourselves. We need to join the Towel and Basin Society, and serve our community in order to win some to Christ. And then we will have our part in Jesus statement: This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14 (CSB)
