God of War #05 – Mind Your Tongue, Boy

As we enter the realm of the Elves, we find that we are in the middle of their war as the Dark Elves have launched an attack, sealing the Light we require. Step by step, we undo their efforts, but they do not go easily, their commander challenging us before we can make our return to Midgard. Atreus’ anger at his father does come to a head though, something that had been building for a while now, yet Kratos calmly reminds him that the two do not know each other’s ways, and now is not time for their journey to be burdened by unnecessary drama.

With God of War – Ragnarok coming in just a few short weeks, it’s time to get good again and dive back into the beginning of Kratos and Atreus’ journey to work off any rusty play style I currently have.

God of War was developed by Santa Monica Studio in 2018 and was a Playstation Exclusive until it was ported over to PC in 2022. A fantastic game showing how former God of War Kratos has changed since the events of his previous game and is adapting to his new role as sole parent to Atreus as they journey to the highest peaks in the land to fulfill his late wife’s final wishes.
