Using a $40 Laser Level To Excavate a Building Pad

Today we'll use a $40 laser level from Amazon to see if it will help us get close to level when excavating a new pad for our sales building we have coming in.

We decided to try this level instead of a proper surveyor transit or a high dollar laser level and was overall pleased with the result and the accuracy. If you need to excavate a site for a shed or a small building, I would definitely consider this as an alternative to more expensive surveying tools.
