Ubuntu Calls Out Linux Subreddit for Placing Ads in Terminal
2 years ago
Ubuntu recently started placing "ads" in your terminal again about new services when using the advanced package tool (apt). Reddit communities had mixed reactions to this and Canonical decided to tease the subreddit /r/linux about it.
What are your thoughts on this? Feel free to let us know down below!
Also, join in on the fun over at https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/ for everything related to Linux.
Ubuntu did provide you with a way to disable apt news in the future by inputting this command in your terminal: pro config set apt_news=false
