Roaring Bear - A 3Point Animation Short - Directed by Jordan White

After 2 1/2 years of approvals and such, our first ever animated short, Roaring Bear, is finally complete, viewable on YouTube starting today.

Roaring Bear is the story of a Native American ghost that haunts the Southern Appalachian mountains between the border of North Georgia and South North Carolina, and how a tragedy caused the land to be cursed by that ghost.

Based on one of my father's campfire stories, the endeavor to make this short started in May 2020, and we worked on this short on and off, getting the storyboards and animation done over the course of a pandemic. Now, after final approval, plus just in time for Halloween, Roaring Bear is ready for your pre or post trick or treat scares.

FUN FACT: The person that did the animation for the last part of the short worked as an effects animator on Dreamworks' Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron from 2002. Coincidentally, that film also had Native Americans in it.
