Saving Faith Includes Sincere Words and Actions pt 2

James continues down the path of telling us that we cannot separate your faith and works. In verse 18 James creates an imaginary debate partner to solidify his point of faith and works. James statements are really hard to determine the starting and ending of James speaking with the starting and ending of the objector. The reason for the difficulty is this, in the original Greek manuscript it was common not to include punctuation in the text. Only a few manuscripts had quotes included in it. Because there was no quotation marks associated with the text it makes this text some of the more difficult New Testament text to interpret.
