Who are the Ammonites? | Molech & Milcom their False Gods

Who are the Ammonites and their false gods, Molech and Milcom? The Ammonites are the descendant of incestuous relationship with Lot and his younger daughter, whereas the Moabites descend from Lot's older daughter. The Israelites often imitated surrounding pagan nations, going as far as passing their children through the fires and practicing child sacrifice unto strange gods, in what is akin to modern day child sacrifice.
