When your excavation day starts like this..

Maybe I should have just called it in for that day! Join me in the cab of the Bobcat e42 R2 series mini excavator as I work on trenching a 300' water line with our plumber on our rustic cabin build project on our Southern Illinois farm. It was a beautiful Saturday morning, with crisp, fresh air and some sunshine, not bad at all for an October weekend. So the mission today was to 'save money' on our cabin build project by me doing the excavation work, and allowing the builder to use my machines in order to save cost. So, once I started editing today's project I realized just how much of a pain it was clearing that 30 to 40 foot stretch of an old excavation bury pit, which took quite some time to break some of this stuff loose! So, I decided to make an 'episode one' if you will since it was interesting and entertaining getting past this old burial pit from who knows how many years ago. Of course I was successful and endured, and went on to finish this project over the course of that weekend, so definitely stay tuned and subscribe to the channel to catch that full project video, coming out soon.
