Some of you may have already seen it; we've been working with the people at Alternative Considerations of Jonestown and Peoples Temple to flesh out missing histories of both William Branham and Jim Jones, and their archives available on jonestown.sdsu.edu have been instrumental in piecing together that history. A few weeks ago they gave us early access so that we could coordinate the release of critical information.

This year's issue has several new details that are critical to understanding why Jim Jones decided to become a leader of William Branham's "Message" cult of personality when Gordon Lindsay, Ern Baxter, and others severed ties with Branham. It also gives the inside story as to why over three hundred ministers rose against Branham in the late 1950s. William Branham himself mentioned this event, and cult members use Branham's version of the story as a "victory", while the real story is much more interesting.
