GOOD PROFITS VS. BAD PROFITS

I don't spare a second of this 12-minute rant, where I do my best to completely dismantle the "oil companies have record profits" narrative.

This is ECON 101 and the merchants of distraction and gaslighting have found yet another perfect scapegoat to blame your problems on.

The easily emotionally manipulated and financially illiterate populous is quick to agree, falling in lockstep with yet another blame shift.

Nobody verifies, nobody validates, they find the marketing message and they spread it everywhere. Most are none the wiser, as their brilliant marketing capitalizes on an omnipresent pain-point, causing those with limited understanding to beg for a savior.

Little do they know, their savior is their oppressor and the sacrifice of even more of their rights and economic prosperity is just one more in a long string of L's that befall those who don't take the time to understand the truth.
