Why is this Midterm Election NOT a Big Deal?

The midterm election is not a big deal. Will your life be different after the election? Will your bank account grow based on who wins? It is mostly important to the politicians and the press. They get wealth and power from elections. The press gins up the rhetoric so we will get anxious. You should vote because it can have long term consequences.
